When do the Smart Print printing credits start?

Summary

What is allocated to Law School students in terms of Smart Print printing credits?

Body

  • Semester Allocation: Law faculty, staff, and students automatically receive a $40 credit per semester on their Smart Print account (which may show as $80 if both semesters are loaded at once). Credits to your Smart Print print account should be posted at the beginning of the semester. Contact access@scu.edu to find out your status.

  • How Printing Balances Work: Your balance starts at $0.00 and counts backward as you print. A balance of -$40.00 means you have used your full single-semester credit.

  • Insufficient Funds Warning: If your balance drops past your total credited limit (e.g., reaching -$40.00 on a single-semester credit), you will get an "insufficient funds" error.

  • What to Do: If you get an insufficient funds warning unexpectedly or your account starts at $0 without any credited allowance, contact access@scu.edu immediately to verify your balance and resolve the issue.
